Gill, I've been "living" in Paris through your blog for a few months now. I am going to miss your photos and clever musings tremendously.

I have to say, if the photo with the Tour Eiffel in the background is the view from your apartment, you're a stronger person than I will ever be to be able to leave it behind.

Best of luck back in Canada.

Gorgeous pictures! I hope you continue blogging back in Canada and showing us your beautiful city that you call home. :)

Suzy- Thank you! But no, no, not my apartment, it's from up on the roof of a friend's place with the best view in Paris!

A Novelist- I hope that Vancouver and Toronto (where I'll be spending most my time...) will inspire me to whip my camera out of my purse as much!

I am simultaneously heartbroken and elated that you are leaving Paris. It will be wonderful to see what you write and photograph in TO because it is so familiar, but at the same time I'm going to miss your Parisian musings! Very very much!

When do you depart?

It will be fun to take on a new city with my little camera. I don't think Toronto is quite as photogenic as Paris...but I'll see what I can do.

I'm off to the North of France from July 9th-27th, then I'm back in Paris a couple of days, before leaving for good on the 30th! Time is ticking...
