Oh my God, I can so identify with this quote. I had never heard it but it is something I have been trying to express unsuccessfully for some time now.
And add to that the homes I'm restless to return to and that's why I can't sleep some nights:-)
This quote is the theme tune to my life. I'm just itching to find all my homes!
Oh-- what an omen that I wandered over to your blog this am-- I rarely have internet time--- I love this quote and Steinbeck!!
Well, there is a thank you note on the way-- it just has to pass a lot of hands, like boat driver to boat driver, before it enters the mail system. But-- thank you soooooooooooooo much!!!! I loved my little care package--you are the sweetest!!!!
